BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Barium fluoride, colorless and transparent cubic crystals or white powder; slightly soluble in water, soluble in hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid, and also soluble in ammonium chloride aqueous solution; derived from the reaction of barium carbonate and hydrofluoric acid; has moisture resistance It has the characteristics of good performance, high operating temperature and good luminescence performance ; barium fluoride crystal with slow component suppression filter of scintillation light.

Purpose (USE)
1. Barium fluoride can be used as an enamel preservative and in industries such as electronics, instrumentation, and metallurgy.
2. Barium fluoride is used in heat treatment of metals, making glass, and as a flux and light blocker in glass and enamel.
3. Barium fluoride can be used as window material for hydrogen fluoride, deuterium fluoride, Co and other lasers.
4. Barium fluoride can be used as window material or other optical components for carbon dioxide and other devices and complete machines.

Highly corrosive. It is stable at room temperature, but begins to decompose into barium oxide when heated to 1000°C in air.
