Octafluorocyclobutane has a wide range of applications. In recent years, Octafluorocyclobutane has been widely used as a refrigerant to replace prohibited chlorofluorocarbons. In addition, it is also commonly used as a gas insulation medium, solvent, spray, foaming agent, large-scale circuit etchant, heat pump working fluid, and raw materials for the production of C2F4 and C3F6 monomers. High-purity octafluorocyclobutane (more than 5N) is used as etching agent and cleaning agent for VLSI.

application

Octafluorocyclobutane has been widely used in high voltage insulation, cleaning and etching, plasma treatment and other technical fields in recent years due to its stable nature, non-toxic, zero ODP and good insulation.

This product can be used as one of the components of the mixed refrigerant to replace CFC-12. It is a permanent substitute without damage to the ozone layer and can also be used as an aerosol.
