Product Details

Molybdenum hexafluoride (MoF6) has a relative molecular weight of 209.93, a melting point of 17.5 ℃, a boiling point of 35 ℃, and is a white block shaped crystal at low temperatures, sensitive to humid air. In the presence of strong oxidants, molybdenum hexafluoride can corrode many metals (excluding gold and platinum), causing the metal surface to turn blue. Molybdenum hexafluoride can be used for isotope separation of molybdenum, and in the electronic industry, it is used for chemical vapor deposition of molybdenum silicide or molybdenum to produce low resistance, high melting point interconnects and gates.

Product Usage:

The main application areas of molybdenum hexafluoride are chemical vapor deposition of molybdenum silicide or molybdenum in the microelectronics industry to produce low resistance, high melting point interconnects. It can also be used as a strong fluorinating agent, film-forming material, and ion dopant, and can also be used for molybdenum isotope separation.

Packaging and storage:

Molybdenum hexafluoride is filled into seamless steel cylinders with capacities of 8L and 47L, respectively. The specific packaging specifications can be customized and changed according to user needs. Molybdenum hexafluoride should be stored in a dry, cool, well ventilated warehouse, away from sparks and heat sources. The storage area should be equipped with emergency response equipment for leaks.
